Movie: The Secret World of Arrietty

Last night a group of us went to see The Secret World of Arrietty

Arrietty (Bridgit Mendler), a tiny, but tenacious 14-year-old, lives with her parents (Will Arnett and Amy Poehler) in the recesses of a suburban garden home, unbeknownst to the homeowner and her housekeeper (Carol Burnett). Like all little people, Arrietty (AIR-ee-ett-ee) remains hidden from view, except during occasional covert ventures beyond the floorboards to "borrow" scrap supplies like sugar cubes from her human hosts. But when 12-year-old Shawn (David Henrie), a human boy who comes to stay in the home, discovers his mysterious housemate one evening, a secret friendship blossoms. If discovered, their relationship could drive Arrietty's family from the home and straight into danger. -- (C) Disney

I loved it. I thought it was so sweet and magical.
I can not wait for it to be released on DVD so I can own it :)

Jersey Boys

Took mom to see Jersey Boys today - it was AWESOME! I definitely recommend seeing it.
The singing and the music was top notch.

It’s the hit crowds go wild for and the New York Post raves is, “too good to be true!” JERSEY BOYS is the 2006 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. JERSEY BOYS tells the phenomenal story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were 30!

JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album, features the many hits of the Four Seasons, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” “Oh What a Night,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and many more.

Before the show we grabbed a quick bite at my favorite Chinese restaurant downtown,

Firetrap Watch

Bought this Zealot Stud watch by Firetrap yesterday.
Featuring a coated brass case with a rectangular mono dial, signature brand detailing to the face, an adjustable stem and a leather strap with raised pyramid stud detailing and a pin and buckle strap fastening.

I've been looking for an "everyday" kind of watch and I think this will be it :))))
Sophia asked me why I haven't been posting in my blog and my answer was....I forgot!
Now that I remember that I have this I will be posting all the time.

Things right now are BUSY
I may be taking a new position with the Gap in a different city about 3 hours away from Charlotte.
Tomorrow I finally get a new tattoo!!!! I can't wait!
And one of my best friends comes into town on Saturday :)
