It's been a while since my last update.

I am in Chapel Hill now. Been here for a little over 2 weeks and still trying to get settled.

Work is going well. Still trying to get adjusted to such a big store. My only complaint is that there are so many people to over see that I feel like I am just a baby-sitting for 8-10 hours a day.

The mall is really nice though. Lots of great stores...I might be in trouble.
It has an indoor and outdoor shopping area.
It reminds me of shopping in Charleston or Florida.

Yesterday was my first real day off at home to clean and unpack.
I also took Ponyo for her first vet visit and she got so many compliments! The receptionist even said she was the cutest thing to come into the office that day.
She has grown so much since I've had her! That little fatty is 5.6 lbs now!

Look how cute & tiny she looked on her new lounge chair only 3 weeks ago.

Now her fat butt hangs off the side (lol)

She's still the light of my life so I will over look all the biting and chewing up of my stuff.

PONYO

Meet Ponyo. My new dachshund-chihuahua puppy.
9 wks old and 2lbs.

Here's a picture of grandma holding her on the way home from Greer where she was being fostered.
She's tinier than she appears in the pictures.

Today was her first day at work @ the Gap

Movie: The Secret World of Arrietty

Last night a group of us went to see The Secret World of Arrietty

Arrietty (Bridgit Mendler), a tiny, but tenacious 14-year-old, lives with her parents (Will Arnett and Amy Poehler) in the recesses of a suburban garden home, unbeknownst to the homeowner and her housekeeper (Carol Burnett). Like all little people, Arrietty (AIR-ee-ett-ee) remains hidden from view, except during occasional covert ventures beyond the floorboards to "borrow" scrap supplies like sugar cubes from her human hosts. But when 12-year-old Shawn (David Henrie), a human boy who comes to stay in the home, discovers his mysterious housemate one evening, a secret friendship blossoms. If discovered, their relationship could drive Arrietty's family from the home and straight into danger. -- (C) Disney

I loved it. I thought it was so sweet and magical.
I can not wait for it to be released on DVD so I can own it :)

Jersey Boys

Took mom to see Jersey Boys today - it was AWESOME! I definitely recommend seeing it.
The singing and the music was top notch.

It’s the hit crowds go wild for and the New York Post raves is, “too good to be true!” JERSEY BOYS is the 2006 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. JERSEY BOYS tells the phenomenal story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were 30!

JERSEY BOYS, winner of the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album, features the many hits of the Four Seasons, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” “Oh What a Night,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and many more.

Before the show we grabbed a quick bite at my favorite Chinese restaurant downtown,
SOHO BISTRO

This is mom's Hong Kong Beef Soup...yummy
